Honorable Charles B. Rangel

Honorable Charles B. Rangel
U.S. House of Representative
2354 Rayburn House Office Bldg.
Washington D.C. 20515

Honorable Congressman:

We wish to congratulate you for your support to the extension of the special trade preferences (ATPDEA) in favor of the Andean countries Colombia, Peru, Bolivia and Ecuador.

Also, we respectfully ask your support to the approval by Congress of the Free Trade Agreements between our country and Colombia, Peru and Panama. This request is based on the serious economic, social and political damage these countries will face if this extension is not approved; as well as depriving our country of this mutually beneficial commercial relation, as explained in our previous correspondence, copy of which we are enclosing.

CAMACOL hereby reiterates the position held for the past three decades in favor of the free trade and economic intregration of the countries of the American continent, to strenghten democracy and freedom and create conditions towards the economic development of the region.

Sincerely,

William Alexander
President
